When he was little, Rev. Simon Barnes’ older brothers convinced him to play hide and seek and told him to hide in a cupboard while one of his brothers looked for him. Their prank led to him sitting dutifully in the cupboard for three hours before he emerged in tears. “Playing” hide and seek with your brothers is one thing– but what about trying to play hide and seek with God?
