Dr. Christina Seal

Interim Assis

Praised for her “effortless” playing (Daily Camera, Boulder), Christina Seal enjoys a varied career as a performer, published musician, and teacher. Her performance highlights include live broadcasts on Cincinnati and Wisconsin Public Radio, collaborations with the Mark Morris Company, and recitals with the Cincinnati Song Initiative. She has also spent summers as a collaborative pianist at the Tanglewood Music Center, Music Academy of the West, and Brevard Music Center.
Dr. Seal has presented at the National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy and the International Congress of Voice Teachers. She earned degrees from Stetson University, the Eastman School of Music, and the University of Colorado-Boulder, along with a Post-Graduate Fellowship from Bard Conservatory.
Christina is a professor in the keyboard department at Northern Kentucky University, and she is excited to be serving as the Interim Assistant Organist at IHC for the 2026-2027 program year. Outside of music, she enjoys cooking, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family—which these days means plenty of soccer and gymnastics!
