Families are the center of faith formation.

Parents are the most important influence shaping the religious and spiritual lives of children and youth. Indian Hill Church Family Ministry strives to develop the family as a community of faith by equipping parents and grandparents to transmit the Christian faith at home.

  Young Family Worship

            Select Sundays at 10 AM

 All ages welcome!

Young Family Worship is offered concurrently with the 10 AM worship in Guild Hall one Sunday each month.

At the end of the young family worship time, Families are invited to the sanctuary for Eucharist with the rest of the congregation, followed by fellowship and treats in Guild Hall. 

The shortened service is perfect for families with young children to experience church and grow in faith in a relaxed, interactive setting. 

The music and prayers are designed with children in mind. 

Each service includes:

• A Bible story taught with a Godly Play-style lesson
• Worship music and hymns
• Prayers, Scripture passages, and responsive readings spoken by children

Messy Church

Messy Church started in an Anglican church near Portsmouth, UK, in 2004 and has grown into an international movement operating across a wide range of Christian denominations and traditions. Messy Church is an all-age worship experience that explores God’s love in an accessible way.

The Indian Hill Messy Church meets monthly on selected Mondays from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM and  provides worship, fellowship, and fun for preschool children and their families! Each month, we provide several stations with unique crafts, activities, and learning opportunities around a bible story theme.

We begin in our fellowship room (Guild Hall) with fun and educational activities that include a snack followed by a brief child-friendly worship time in the sanctuary. The time concludes with a simple pizza lunch. If you want to confirm your attendance to help us with our pizza count, or if you have any questions, contact our Children and Family Ministry Director, Molly Milligan.
