Our Music

Music plays a vital role in our worship here at Indian Hill Church.  We have a variety of choirs to provide musical leadership and to enrich our services.  We are fortunate to have talented soloists in our choirs, many of whom are or were voice majors at CCM (UC’s College-Conservatory of Music) and other universities.  All of our choirs rehearse on Sunday mornings.  Anyone interested in serving in our Music Ministry is encouraged to contact Phil Clary, our Director of Music at pclary@indianhillchurch.org and Amy Clark, Assistant Music Director at aclark@indianhillchurch.org.

ADULT CHOIR

The Adult Choir sings two to three times each month.  Although the Adult Choir sings a varied repertoire, this choir embraces choral music from the Anglican and Reformed traditions.

YOUTH CHOIR

The Youth Choir is open to high school aged students to young adults, and sings music of a less traditional nature – American Gospel and music from African and other non-European traditions.  The Youth Choir sings once a month.

SOPRANO-ALTO CHOIR / TENOR-BASS CHOIR

These two choirs provide a fellowship opportunity for those who have great memories of high school choirs and collegiate glee clubs. Each of these choirs only sings once every two to three months.

HANDBELL CHOIR

Our intergenerational handbell choir enhances our worship services with the beautiful sound  of bells, providing a musical opportunity for those who enjoy creating instrumental music. This group plays about once a quarter.
